Killingly Engineering has worked with Dunkin Donuts for numerous facilities throughout Northeast Connecticut and this project presented a number of design challenges.  The 1.6-acre commercial property required demolition of an existing building, grading of steep slopes to attain parking and drive thru access.  Drainage on the site was addressed with the design of sub-grade detention and infiltration for stormwater control and water quality.  Killingly Engineering also coordinated with a certified traffic engineer and the Office of the State Traffic Authority to update the timing of the signalized intersection.
